Hallway of the Teachers' Offices, Saturday

Magnus had an office? He wasn't exactly sure about that and other people had them, so he was just sort of... hanging out in the hallway of the offices.

Because he couldn't remember and where the fuck was Griffin to answer the questions he really should already know the answer to?. And the investigation check he made garnered him a big ol' 'you are in a hallway' which hadn't helped at all.

But that was okay! He was just going to hang out here in case parents wanted to talk to him. Unless they were jerks. Don't be a jerk to your kid's teachers, folks. They worked super hard.

"Do I even want to know?" Anakin asked, poking his head out into the hall.

"It's all good!" Magnus said with a thumbs up. "I'm not a transient or anything!"

Wow, that inspired faith in you, Magnus.

"Sounds like something a transient might say," Anakin observed.

[magnusrushesin]

"...but I'm not." He sort of was.

[sith_happened]

"Are you sure?" Anakin asked.

[magnusrushesin]

"I have a place to stay. And a job."

[sith_happened]

"And you're loitering in a hallway," Anakin said.

[magnusrushesin]

"I'm waiting for parents to talk to," Magnus replied. "Haven't seen any so far. I think I might need to get a sign."

"I think they might get confused at a sign and give you change without reading it," Anakin said.

[magnusrushesin]

"...if it's enough to get another latte, I'll take it." But he wouldn't be grateful!

Anakin thought about it, then shrugged. "It wouldn't be unethical," he said. "It would just be punishing them for their own lack of attention."

...he was seeing an Ethics class coming up out of this.

"Yes, exactly! You know, I like this plan. I like this plan a lot."

Of course he did. He was still wearing the Leapin' Loafers they stole from Merle's cousin's corpse.

"Let me know how it turns out," Anakin said. "You'll need a cup or something, though. I have an extra in my mug. You alright with 'The Galaxy's Okay-est Day?' My oldest daughter has a wicked sense of humor."

[magnusrushesin]

"Awwww." Magnus was actually a big, ol' marshmallow inside. "That's nice. I have this mug that lets you get super drunk on whatever is poured in it if you want to hold it as collateral. Or to get super drunk. I don't judge."

"Let's see how my parent meetings go and I'll decide about the drinking then," Anakin said.
